October 2014

This month's editor is Christine Chalkin

The Association's 46th annual conference took place at Wyboston lakes on the sunny weekend of the 12 - 14th September. The Power of Astrology Conference was a huge success and as always it was a wonderful opportunity to mix with other astrologers and to listen to talks by world renowned speakers. The Charles Harvey award for exceptional services to astrology was deservedly won by Wendy Stacey, who as most of you know, is a pioneer and a shining light in the astrological world and has also devoted so much of her time to the Association.

Now as the evenings draw in we welcome you to our October edition of In the Loop. This month we have a fascinating article by Laura Boomer-Trent, she writes about the celestial union of wisdom and compassion, uniting spirit and soul with sun and moon. Astrologer Alex Trenoweth shares some insights from her new book Growing Pains: Astrology in Adolescence. She provides valuable clues as to how the transits of Jupiter and Saturn show the pattern of growth and development with youngsters in the classroom.

Local Astrology Groups are a vital part of keeping astrology alive all over the world. As the local groups coordinator UK, I'm pleased to include more news from three local astrology groups - Blackpool, Birmingham and the Bucks and Berks groups - all the 'B' s for you to enjoy!
