local groups. Of course we can’t do so unless you let us know what is happening.
Unfortunately there isn’t space to list your programme of events but if your group is holding a special event, has changed
venue, contact details or even website details then we can inform the astrological community here.

AA Conference
Do you have a group member that has never been to the AA annual conference before? This year the Astrological Association have an amazing offer - we are offering each astrology group one reduced price conference place for £235. The nominated participant must already be, or be willing to become an AA member on application, that’s only £38 for a whole year’s membership, which includes the bi-monthly astrological journal. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the astrological community at the annual conference from the 16th to the 18th of September in Wyboston, Bedfordshire. Come and mingle with other astrologers, hear fantastic speakers from all over the world, enjoy 4 * accommodation, good food and have lots of fun! Welcome meetings (cheese and wine provided!) will be held during the weekend for local groups and all new conference participants. Be sure to check the AA website for all conference details. Please inform your group members of this offer and nominate your chosen candidate by 31st August latest.

Event Days
Would any Local groups like to hold an event in conjunction with the Astrological Association? We can help your group with funding for speakers, advertising and promotion. Successful past events have included day workshops with Christeen Skinner at the Bucks group, Judy Hall in Stroud and Bernadette Brady at the Astrological Lodge in London. Free Web Space for Local GroupsThe Astrological Association is now offering a free web page to local groups. Including a Googlemap of your group's location. All you need do to take advantage of this is to email the webmaster. This is a service that we are offering to members only. Useful LeafletsWe have produced a couple of leaflets that we hope local groups may find useful. One outlines the many ways the Astrological Association help promote local groups, the other offers advice for those wishing to start a locla group. They are available here in pdf format for downolad.
