After The Wedding - Angie Biggerstaff

Everyone has heard the news of the wedding to take place between Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles on the 8th April 2005 coinciding with the Solar Eclipse at 19 degrees Aries. What about later in the year?

On 17th October 2005 there is a Lunar Eclipse at 24 degrees Aries belonging to the 7 South Saros Series, described by Bernadette Brady as (Mars = Pluto) trine New Moon. The immense power, anger and force of the Mars square Pluto is channelled into this family of eclipses via the trine. The individual experiencing this series will find that huge obstacles will suddenly and easily clear, or on the negative side, a pending potential crisis will suddenly manifest and move through his or her life very rapidly. Either way the individual will feel that everything is moving at great speed.

Partial Lunar Eclipse 17th Oct 2005, set for London

This Lunar Eclipse will impact the charts of several members of the Royal family. Any event in their lives affects the country as a whole so let us look at the U.K. charts.

In the 1066 chart (25th Dec 1066, 12 Noon LMT, London), the eclipse falls across the Asc/Des axis, and coincidentally the same axis but reversed in the progressed chart. Transiting Mars is in Cancer in the 4th house squaring these two Asc/Des. The progressed Sun is inconjunct the natal 12th house Pluto. Last time the progressed Sun was in this position was at the time of the Civil War. There is also a Progressed New Moon cycle just started in the 1066 chart heralding a time of new beginnings.

1066 chart for the UK, set for London

In the Queen's chart the Lunar Eclipse is in the 2nd house of physical, emotional and financial security and values inconjunct natal Saturn on the Midheaven. The progressions show the progressed Moon conjunct Pluto in the 6th house which is picking the progressed MC opposing natal Moon in the 7th house and ruler of the 6th and 7th; inconjunct natal Pluto and semi-square Uranus in the 2nd. Progressed Jupiter squares the Midheaven.

Natal Pluto = Prog. Mercury/Venus

Prog Pluto = Prog. Sun/Moon

Prog Uranus = Prog Venus/Mars

Prog Saturn = Mercury/Jupiter

Transits include Mars square Mars, Jupiter, Neptune and trine the Ascendant. Jupiter opposes Chiron, sesq Venus and inconjunct Uranus. Transiting Uranus sesq the Ascendant, while transiting Pluto trines Neptune, and semi-sextiles the Ascendant. So are we looking a health scare for the Queen or concerns of Prince Phillip - the 2nd house being the 8th of the 7th.

In the chart for Charles the Lunar Eclipse is in the 10th house inconjunct natal Sun within 2 degrees in the 4th house of home and family. The ruler of the 10th is Mars which opposes the natal Sun and inconjuncts natal Mars. The earlier eclipse in April will square the Asc/Des axis from the 4th house.

Progressed Mars opposes the natal Asc and inconjuncts Saturn in the 2nd house and ruler of the 6th. The progressed Moon, semi-squares the MC and the progressed Asc sesq natal Moon in the 10th house. The progressed Neptune is on the midpoint of Moon/Jupiter and Moon/Uranus.

Chart for Prince Charles

Camilla's chart shows the Lunar Eclipse in the 10th house of career and status square the natal Sun in the 12th house. The progressed moon is now in Virgo in the 2nd house giving a background of work and concerns of co-workers. As with the Queen the progressed Moon cycle is coming to a close indicating changes taking place ready to clear the way for the new cycle.

So anyone reading this far might think that obviously changes will happen because of the marriage between Charles and Camilla. But wait…..there is more.

The Eclipse is across the MC/IC and Asc/Des of the charts of Princess Anne and Prince Andrew. In William's chart the Eclipse opposes natal Pluto in the 9th house and ruler of his 10th and 11th houses. Finally the Libra Ingress chart set for London has Uranus on the MC, with 9 degrees of Cancer on the Asc, which is the MC of the 1801 chart and opposite the Sun of the 1066 chart.

If the wedding in April looks to be the main event of the year for the Royals, its possible later in the year will turn out to be more significant.
