The annual AA Conference was once again a huge success as we celebrated our birthday and indulged in a feast of talks given by a great faculty of speakers. Photos of the event can be found on the AA Website at (follow the links to the 2008 Conference).

Next year’s annual AA Conference will be held between 18-20 September 2009, when we will be returning to Wyboston Lakes (near Cambridge), so please check our website for updates.

The New Astrological Journal

The first copy of the new sized journal by our new Editor is now out. We do want to hear what you think of it so please email us at with your views.

We have changed the packaging from this mail out, and are switching from plastic covers to recycled brown envelopes. The new packaging is more environmentally friendly and can be recycled.

Kepler Day Research Conference – Saturday 22 November 2008

The Social Sciences and Humanities Investigate the Value of Astrology and its Future

This year’s Kepler Day Research Conference will take place on Saturday 22 November 2008, 10am-5pm, at Connaught Hall, 36-45 Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9EX. It is being organised and sponsored by the Sophia Centre, University of Wales, Lampeter, the Research Group for the Critical Study of Astrology and the Astrological Association. The conference is a forum for research in astrology in the humanities and social sciences, with speakers and discussion. Due to sponsorship from the RGCSA and the Sophia Centre, the cost to attend the research conference this year is only £10. Temporary membership is available for £10 for non-AA Members who wish to attend (students who are non-AA Members are exempt from the temporary membership fee, as this will be covered by the sponsors). The price includes refreshments, but not lunch.

This event day with Melanie Reinhart will take place on Saturday 29 November, from 10.30-16.30, at Bosham House, Bosham, Chichester, PO18 8PJ. The cost of the seminar is £35 for AA members. Temporary membership is available for £10 for non-AA members who wish to attend.
