High-tech lasers have been used to unlock the secrets of Stonehenge. The work at the ancient site in Wiltshire has already found two carvings which are invisible to the naked eye. The research by Wessex Archaeology and 3D laser scan firm Archaeoptics began in the summer of 2002. Three stones have been scanned to date, and the investigating team insists a full survey of all eighty three would probably reveal more carvings. The full story can be found by clicking here

In response to those of you who like to print Transit out to read later we now offer it in pdf format as well as the normal web pages. You should be able to easily print Transit if you click on the pdf version offered on the AA website. To open a pdf file you will need to install a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer, if you don't already have it. This is available widely on the web free of charge. You can find a copy by clicking here . If you want to use the links to websites or email authors about their work in Transit you should use this version. I'd be pleased to hear any feedback about this change.
