Research Group for the Critical Study of Astrology - News

On Saturday, 30th August at the AA Conference in York, the new Convenor of the RGCSA, Mrs. Susan High, presented a short talk about the Research Group for the Critical Study of Astrology, Southampton University. Mrs. High has considerable experience in statistical analysis and study design. She is Principal Experimental Officer in the Department of Social Statistics in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Southampton, UK. She emphasised that, under her direction, the Group was keen to support interest in astrological research and to encourage and advise upon the adoption of appropriate research methods for astrological research proposals within Universities.

The Group exists to help and support any students at UK universities who are registered on degree courses where they are undertaken research containing an astrological component. It can consider research proposals from such registered students who are seeking help with funding, for example, with University tuition fees. The Group can also provide additional tuition and guidance for these students when requested and where appropriate.

The RGCSA can also provide letters of support to students outside the UK, who wish to undertake astrologically related research at Universities abroad.
