A talk with Kate Hubert
The body is fundamental to our experience of the evolutionary pressure of life (which the birth chart describes) and to our perception of life generally. Astrologically understood, health challenges reveal the body’s intelligence, its own poetic logic, guiding us out of patterns of conditioning towards what is vitally required for health, wholeness and authenticity. Looking at some case studies we will see how illness and injury meaningfully relate to personal evolution; in turn this will give us a deep, intriguing appreciation of what the body is and of the meanings it contains.
Kate Hubert has been a professional astrologer since 1999, her work being influenced by esoteric and Jungian astrologies and a deep love of druidry. Her book, The Body of Stars: Astrology & the Wisdom of the Body has been critically acclaimed. Kate’s interest is in how the cosmos interweaves with the microcosmic human, helping us to take hold of both astrology and the art of being human in a deeper way. She is based in South Devon, where she offers in-person and Skype consultations, teaching and mentoring.
