19:00 The eight harmonic aspects in lunations and outer planetary cycles Lucien Windrich

Dane Rhudyar’s lunation cycle is well known for its 8-fold structure and symbolism. What’s surprising is that the great Uranus-Neptune-Pluto conjunction that occurs every 3948 years also has an 8-fold structure… which suggests a resonance between the two cycles. From a philosophical point of view this might help explain why the Moon acts as a conduit for unconscious energies and motivations. In this talk, we won’t be covering historical events in detail, it’s more about highlighting the significance of 8 harmonic patterns and their resonance with the lunation cycle.

Biography: Lucien has been a professional musician for many years and began studying astrology in the early 90’s. He completed the Diploma with the Faculty of Astrological Studies in 1994, and for a few years worked as a production editor for the Astrology Quarterly. Lucien is currently researching the golden section in astrology, and the significance of floating lumps of rock in the Kuiper Belt. He has a degree in anthropology, and lives in London with his wife and three children.

20:00 Profile of Marie-Antoinette Marielle Churaqui

Marie-Antoinette was the last queen of France, and perhaps the most hated woman in French history. She was famous for allegedly saying ‘let them eat cake!’ and for meeting her end at the guillotine. At her trial, she was accused of being a traitor, of committing incest and bankrupting the country. She was despised by revolutionaries as being an out of touch and extravagant aristocrat. Historians have recently been kinder to her, seeing her as a victim. We will look at the chart of this doomed queen whose tragic fate continues to fascinate.

Biography: Marielle has been involved with astrology for the last 30 years. She holds the diploma from the Faculty of Astrological Studies and MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the University of Lampeter. She runs an astrological practice in North London and also uses astrology in her work as a yoga teacher and reflexologist. Her approach with clients is inspired by Jungian ideas and particularly the concept of the soul, as defined by James Hillman, that demands that we live our life as deeply, fully and authentically as we can.
