The International Astrology Library

Incorporating the Philip Graves Library with the Astrological Association Library and Archive

The International Astrology Library

In addition to the physical Astrological Association library, the Astrological Association has launched the International Astrology Library Online, where you can discover a remarkable collection of more than 400 professionally scanned out-of-print, hard-to-find astrology books and volumes of astrological periodicals, published from the late sixteenth to the early twentieth centuries. For copyright reasons, we can generally only make available those books that are out of copyright, but we have generously been given permission by the authors to add high-quality scans of Mundane Astrology by Michael Baigent, Nicholas Campion and Charles Harvey.

The range is truly international, with astrology volumes in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Danish, Norwegian, Hungarian, Russian, Serbian, Turkish, Japanese, Akkadian, Ancient Greek, Latin, Arabic, Hebrew and Armenian available.

Some antiquarian volumes from as early as the mid-16th century are available, together with a larger selection from the seventeenth (including a first edition of William Lilly’s Christian Astrology), and many ranging in date from the late 18th to the early 20th century. There is a particularly extensive multilingual collection of astrological periodicals from the twentieth century, while the English-language periodicals also span the 19th century and stretch back as far as the 1790s.

We are delighted to announce that in addition to this physical library, over 400 books that are older and therefore out of copyright have been scanned and are available in our new International Astrology Library Online. This is a new membership, and is half price if you’re already an AA member!
