Recent Developments in Planetary Stock Trading - Bill Meridian Horoscopes of incorporation and first trade are useful in stock selection. The basics will be explained. The focus will be on the earnings surprise method and the Jupiter return approach. The aim is to get an advance alert as to whether a stock will be rising or falling.

Principles of House Division - Wade Caves In this robust survey of systems, we explore nine methods of house division. The aim is to understand the astronomical principles at work and align these with the philosophical justifications provided by each system's proponents. Applied Mundane Astrology - Bill Meridien Bill has been writing the Dell Horoscope column of mundane astrology since 1990. This workshop discusses the many mundane methods that have been found useful. Their relative importance of these methods and their application will be explained. Data collection and maintenance will be discussed. The objective is to produce accurate forecasts.

A Fast Track to Traditional Chart Reading - Dr Ben Dykes Learn to identify the most important chart features so you can have a meaningful conversation with a client using solid predictive techniques: sect, dignities and counter-dignities, angularity, Lots ("Arabic Parts"), special planetary configurations, basic house interpretation, and profections. Suitable for all traditional and modern astrologers.

Almuten: Who is in charge? - Jadranka Ćoić The Latin translation of "almuten" from the Arabic means "victor". A planet that has the most dignity in any specific degree of the zodiac is considered the almuten of that degree and can be the key planet for the whole chart or a particular house. Understanding almutens helps us understand the chart better, whether natal or horary.

The Power of Eclipses - Bill Meridian This lecture traces the development of eclipse analysis from Lorne Edward Johndro through Charles Jayne to the present. Jayne taught that eclipses are the most powerful element in astrology. Their influence is refined by Johndro's element of 'time orb.' The method of the determination of the birth eclipse and its associated shadow will be discussed.

Astrology: Science or Divination? - David Hamblin David will propose that astrology is not divination but is necessarily a scientific enquiry - but not materialist science, rather the science of consciousness (the interaction between the consciousness of Earth and that of the other planets), as suggested by the work of Rupert Sheldrake.

Eclipse and Lunar Cycle - Rod Chang Interpreting eclipses is an important forecasting skill. In this talk, Rod will present his eclipse study, combining Saros and lunar cycles; how to apply them to forecasting for Mundane events and personal development; and, how one can use powerful eclipses when under their influence.

The Value of Quantitative Astrological Research - Dr Tom Stedall Drawing on Cosmos and Psyche (Tarnas, 2006) and my work with Rupert Sheldrake, I explore the tensions between the value of quantitative research for recognising knowledge excluded by the scientific worldview, and the challenge that excluded knowledge presents to the epistemology of this worldview.

Management, marketing, and ethical dilemmas will be discussed, as well as electional and vocational astrology.

The Spirit of the Depths - Dr Frances Clynes Astrology was a fundamental building block of the psychological theories of CG Jung. Serving his 'Spirit of the Depths', he deliberately confronted his unconscious and invoked the contents of the Liber Novus, or Red Book. This presentation will look at Jung's chart and what was being activated at this time.

First impression judgments of the horoscope can provide the answers you need to gain an understanding of your client's personal style.

Saturn, Ensoulment and the Birth of the Esoteric Body - Giulio Pellegrini Rudolph Steiner determined that the initial crystallization stage of childhood development takes place around age seven when Saturn forms a square to itself in the natal chart. We will show how this aspect corresponds to our mental, emotional, and spiritual development.

Working With Chiron, Pluto And Eris in Charts - Henry Seltzer This is a lecture - with an interactive component as well - about these important modern astrological archetypes that invariably go to depth, in natal placements and in transits. Example charts will also be from participants, using a live demo of astrological software, to bring up volunteer charts on the spot in order to discuss.

With many saying that it depicts a reality not far from home, Fernanda will explore the astrology of 'The Handmaid's Tale' and discuss how we might prevent the story from becoming a reality.

Advanced Traditional House Interpretation - Dr Ben Dykes This talk will show you the main features of traditional house interpretation, following the models set down by people like Dorotheus (and after him, al-Andarzaghar and Sahl). We will use charts to illustrate the three main components: a house and its lord, the Lot ("Arabic Part") associated with that topic, and the natural significator with its triplicity lords.
