Hi All,
I’m catching the National Express Bus, arriving at Nottingham bus station at 9.50 pm Thursday 17th September, if all goes well. Anyone arriving at Nottingham around then or up for leaving then let’s share an uber or taxi to Eastwood Hall/the conf center. Email me at vavaseven@icloud.com
Helen Teague I’m arriving 2 hours after you so if you end up catching a taxi from Nottingham and don’t mind hanging out for a couple of hours until I arrive, that could be a plan.

I’ll be driving up to the conference on Friday morning from Oxford. I plan to arrive in time for the afternoon sessions.

I’m travelling from London to Nottingham by coach on Wednesday 16 September in order to circumvent the train strike. I will arrive in Nottingham at 18.55 and – as the coach station is right by the train station – this means I could share a taxi at around 7.00 pm from Nottingham station to Eastwood Hall with anyone else who is arriving in Nottingham at that time.
Alternatively, if no one is there to share a cab with me from Nottingham to Eastwood Hall, I will arrive at Langley Mill at 19.35, since it has been stated that small regional trains won’t be affected by the strike. This means that I could well be in a position to share a cab with Mary at this point, since her plan looks similar to mine.
Here’s hoping we all make it to Eastwood Hall by one means or another!

Great news everyone! THE PLANNED TRAIN STRIKE FOR NEXT WEEK HAS NOW BEEN POSTPONED AND WILL NOT BE GOING AHEAD! So all trains will be going as previously scheduled. We look forward to seeing you.

I could book a train to arrive close to that time, Cath ( there is a direct train from Manchester that gets in at 1.30 pm on the Friday, so could wait for yours) to share a taxi with you.
